Building a Strong National Organization
Dalit Shakti Foundation is building a structured national organization across India through state units, district committees, block committees and village/ward committees.
The purpose of state units is to organize members, appoint responsible leadership, conduct local programs, maintain reports and expand the Foundation's work at the grassroots level.
Organizational Levels
A clear structure from national leadership to village and ward level community service.
National Level
Provides overall direction, policy, governance, training, digital systems and national coordination.
State/UT Level
Coordinates state-wide membership, district appointments, campaigns, programs and reporting.
District Level
Manages district committees, local wings, membership drives, awareness camps and program execution.
Block Level
Connects village and ward teams with district leadership and supports local activities.
Village/Ward Level
Works directly with the community, identifies issues, registers members and supports programs.

Unit Responsibilities
State and district units carry the responsibility of leadership appointment, membership growth, program execution and reporting.
State Unit Responsibilities
State units are responsible for appointing district teams, maintaining member records, organizing training, conducting public programs, supporting wing activities and reporting progress to national leadership.
District Unit Responsibilities
District units are responsible for membership growth, local campaigns, wing formation, volunteer management, grievance awareness support, public meetings and district-level program reports.
District Activation Sheet
Each state should maintain a district activation sheet to track appointments, membership growth, programs and reporting status.
